Pierry
A wine producing village, Pierry is remarkable for its rich architectural heritage of the eighteenth century, with its castles, mansions, its miles of vaulted cellars dug out in chalk.
The cellar of Benedictine monks settled here in 1326 and hosted the work of brother Oudard ( 1654 - 1742 ) Brother Oudard made wine and collaborated with Dom Perignon from the Abbey of Hautvillers.
An experienced guide will accompany you for a discovery walk through the village.
Epernay, capital of champagne
Pierry is located three kilometres from Epernay, the capital of champagne.
The remarkable Avenue de Champagne, lined with prestigious Champagne houses and mansions is a ‘must’ to stroll down, day or night.
